Cotton-like snow paints a side of Lafayette's headquarters on Route One in Chadds Ford, Pa. on April 7, 2000. It was the most beautiful snow of the season but had melted by noon. Photo was shot from the driveway of the Horace Pyle House. Pyle was a painting instructor of N.C. Wyeth, Andrew's father and Jamie's grandfather---each a Chester County treasure.
