A painter's dream snowfall of four inches fell overnight on April 7, 2000 and presented the cherry tree outside Philips Auditorium at West Chester (Pa.) University with a layer of white shadowing to go with its natural pink blossoms. As a young reporter many years ago I covered the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant here.
